While we are primarily an adult club, children are welcome at all Frederick Chess Club Sponsored events. We take competitive chess seriously; it is expected that all players will exhibit good sportsmanship and respect not only for their opponents, but for the other competitors in the gaming hall as well. Parents are expected to lead by example in this regard. While we do not currently run scholastic tournaments, we do adhere to the USCF’s spectator policy for scholastic events.
