9am-12noon Blindfold Chess Exhibition. Watch Grandmaster Gareyev simultaneously play ten challengers while blindfolded.
1-1:45pm Lecture on blindfold chess. Listen to Grandmaster Gareyev explain the art of playing blindfold chess.
2-4pm Knockout blindfold chess match. Watch Grandmaster Gareyev compete in a knockout chess match against the top three players from the UMBC Chess Team. All players will be blindfolded.

Timur Gareyev is an international grandmaster originally from Uzbekistan. August 5-7, 2016, he will attempt to break the Guinness world record (of 46 games) by simultaneously playing 50 challengers in Prague blindfolded.
