Each round teams play a match against another team. Standings will be by board points. Board order on a team MUST be in order of USCF ratings, using the 1/2013 ratings supplement. Unrated players MUST play below all rated players. Teams from the same school will not be paired against each other, unless there is no other way to pair the score group. A team consists of a maximum of 4 players and a minimum of 2 players (all missing boards will count as a loss each round). All players on a team must attend the same school in the same building with the same administration. There is no limit on the number of teams a school may field in a section. Home-schooled players who reside in a single school district may form a team. Alternatively, home-schooled players may play for teams from the public schools they opted out of attending. If a non-Title-1 school fields 4 or more teams, it may request a $10 discount per team at the tournament. US Chess Federation membership is required. New USCF members can join the USCF at http://www.uschess.org before registering to get an ID number or join with their registration. All at-the-door USCF memberships will be $5 more.
